OUR STORY

Dr. William A. Chapman Elementary School offers Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) magnet program to students in grades third-fifth. The STEAM magnet program is designed to challenge students to solve real-world problems through hands-on, project-based, arts-infused, learning activities. Applying critical thinking skills, working collaboratively, and developing solutions to life issues that will help students transition from school to a global society. Our goal is to expose students to STEAM academic programs that will encourage them to become lifelong learners and explore careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
